Positive: Lovely hotel in the lively area of Deep Ellum! The bedrooms have lofty ceilings and super comfy beds — staff are lovely, gym is fantastic (Peleton bikes, running machine, cold towels in fridge on exit) and there is a great pool area. Also thought the staff were very helpful and sweet. Breakfast was delicious and portions were huge
Negative: If you are sensitive to noise I would carefully consider a stay here. We had a room that backed onto the freeway / Elm Street and it was so loud! I Googled about revving vehicles in the area and apparently it’s been a problem in Dallas for some time - cars rev engines/modified junkers really loudly at the lights and naturally it’s worse at night. You could also hear this noise by the pool, sadly. Despite liking the pool area, I think there could be more effort to make this area more vibey. There was no music, not someone readily available to make drinks at the bar hatch (went up 3 separate times and no one was there) and sometimes it was a bit messy with towels which could be remedied if staff checked the area more frequently
Summary: Fantastic hotel in great area — shame about noise!

Positive: Hotel was clean, close to main attractions. Staff was superb and very accomodating
Negative: We booked a 3 night stay but had to leave after first night as we underestimated how loud it would get around the hotel. We are light sleepers plus had a 1 year old baby. Even though it was a no refund reservation, staff still went ahead and refunded our 2 nights stay which was very nice. You don’t find this level of customer service these days.
